Project Mosaic builds research synergy between social scientists across the various academic disciplines of UNC Charlotte. We encourage researchers to talk to each other and work on themes that transcend their chosen disciplinary areas. We want UNC Charlotte to sustain cutting-edge data-driven research that dissolve the traditional boundaries within social sciences and beyond.
We recognize that one of the most potent ways of engaging in interdisciplinary research is bringing a greater appreciation to the common language of scientific discovery – Data Analytics and Research Methods. Through Project Mosaic, the campus community gains support and access to a broader pool of research methods and data analytics through our specialized programs and services.
Project Mosaic is primarily a social sciences research collaboration incubator.
Through our seed grants, we facilitate and encourage researchers in social, behavior, and economic sciences at UNC Charlotte to form collaborative teams to pursue external funding.
